Terms of Service

Last updated:

These terms govern your use of Rapify apps on the Shopify platform. By installing any Rapify app, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English because we believe you shouldn't need a lawyer to understand how a service works.

Service Description

Rapify provides Shopify apps for catalog operations. Our current apps include:

  • StockPing — monitors inventory levels across your Shopify locations and sends alerts via email, Slack, and SMS when stock reaches thresholds you define
  • RP: Duplicate Finder & Delete — identifies and removes duplicate products
  • RP: Bulk Delete Product Backup — bulk product deletion with backup
  • RP: Bulk Price Editor — bulk price editing for products

Each app's specific functionality is described on its Shopify App Store listing and landing page.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Rapify apps for legitimate Shopify store management only. You will not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our apps
  • Abuse Shopify API rate limits through our apps
  • Use our apps for any purpose other than their intended store management function
  • Share your app access or credentials with unauthorized third parties

Accuracy & Liability Limitation

Rapify provides inventory monitoring and catalog tools as a convenience. While we work hard to deliver accurate and timely alerts:

  • It is your responsibility to verify inventory data in your Shopify admin
  • We do not guarantee that alerts will prevent stockouts or lost sales
  • Notification delivery depends on third-party services (email providers, Slack, SMS carriers) that are outside our control
  • The service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied

Rapify's total liability for any claim related to our apps is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Preview & Verification

For Rapify apps that modify catalog data (such as bulk editors or duplicate removers), we provide preview functionality so you can review changes before they're applied. However:

  • Always verify changes in your Shopify admin after any bulk operation
  • Use preview and backup features before applying changes
  • Rapify is not liable for unintended catalog modifications that result from skipping preview steps or failing to verify results

Billing

Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing API. This means:

  • Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice
  • Shopify handles all payment processing
  • Rapify does not store or have access to your payment information
  • Pricing is displayed in the Shopify App Store listing and within the app
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Shopify admin

Termination

You may uninstall any Rapify app at any time through your Shopify admin. Upon uninstall:

  • Your subscription is cancelled immediately
  • All data associated with your store is deleted per our Privacy Policy and Shopify's GDPR webhook requirements
  • No data is retained after uninstall

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our apps if these terms are violated, with notice where practical.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
